I went through a phase (here, “phase” is doing some handwavy motion towards having a new baby with mysterious medical needs at the beginning of the pandemic) where I bought somewhere between 15 and 20 oracle and/or tarot decks. I don’t know the exact number because I’m scared that it’s maybe more than 20. And two decks of conversation cards. And I haven’t used any of them! Ever! But something about having the cards was soothing at a time when I desperately needed some soothe. All of this is to say: Cards are great, even when they solve absolutely nothing!

I was very annoyed that the old sortes vergilianae site didn't work anymore, so I hired a student to make a new one! The SEO must be dismal, because it doesn't come up in a simple google search, but you can find it here: https://sortesvergilianae.wescreates.wesleyan.edu
